"Big Brother is Watching You!" George Orwell, "1984"
"Irritation"
The littlest thing
makes me want to scream
A pin drop?
Like nails on a chalkboard
Everything lately
is irritating to me
The slightest bump-
Sandpaper on sunburn
I have a trigger-happy temper
So excuse me if I'm a little gunshy

"The Road"
Here we are, all carpooling on the road of life
Can I get off at the next exit, please?
I'm sick of all this traffic, an endless river of vehicles
Oh look, the gods painted a picture
It's lying on the side of the road
Abstract art of twisted metal, twisted bodies,
& maybe twisted souls
They made a mess with red paint
We all stare but no one wants to help clean it up
Some just drive on by, getting on with their lives
While others of us are annoyed at the delay
My soul gets claustrophobic in my brain, my shell
Should've flown instead
I'm just a passenger, and the Trickster’s doing the driving
We're in the fast lane on the highway to nowhere
Just when you think you've reached the end of the road
Destination Nirvana
The bottom drops out (damn potholes)
Fate has a twisted sense of humour
Ask me if I care, & I'll tell you I used to...

"Four-corner Misery"
The Earth is my Mother
In Her name I pray
children of her womb will
stop digging her grave
The Sun is my Father
In His name I fight
Strengthen the sheild,
lest we burn in His light
The Ocean is my Sister
In Her name I cry
hot, bitter tears,
acid rain from the sky
The Wind is my brother
In His name I sing,
"Dance in harmony,
like birds on the wing!"

“Frozen Faith”
Whatever I have done to make you turn away from me,
My heart weeps over my crimes
I let the darkness inside my mind
Now my soul longs to be free
Stiil, darkness is all I can see
There is no path of love and light that I can find
Lord and Lady, what can I do to bring back the light?
Where is my fire, once so bold?
Why do I suddenly feel so cold?
What is it that blocks my sight?
There's no more comfort in the night
Break me free of the ill that has me in it's hold!
